Farewells are hard...when you have great friends!!
We said goodbye to our mentors for an extended period of time today. You know you have found good relationships when goodbyes are difficult and an absence is felt. We met them 2.5 years ago, and we both are definitely in different spots now. We know God has great plans for them, and we will welcome them back with opened arms when they return. We are excited to work together for years to come!

Another Year...2015
Today we are leaving for a weekend trip to the mountains. We are excited to get away, rest and reflect as a family. We have been back for 2 months and time has flown by. We are doing well, but definitely appreciate a short break. This season we are learning to be working professionals, church goers, and ultimately grown ups here. We started out as such babies in culture, language, etc. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 years as students. Now, we are trying to find our identity as 30 year old career people in Indian society. We are realizing that in a different culture, country, language this takes a lot more energy. God has been good to us. Each week is better, but it will be a long work in progress. Thank him for sustaining us, caring for us, and loving us. We truly enjoy our life and work here.
