Indians do not celebrate Halloween. This time of year is their biggest festival, Diwali "The Festival of Lights." Our nights have been filled with lights and fireworks...but I decided to merge the holidays. The tradition here is you visit people and bring them sweets. So, our kids wore their Halloween costumes to do it. We like festivals because it gives us more of a reason to spend time in peoples' houses living life with them. Plus, we had a few days off of school. It was life "Thanksgiving Break" for us...a time to spend with friends and also with our family too. Here's some pictures. I made sweets with some friends and delivered them to various houses.
