Sam's enjoying shoes these days. He's learned to get our shoes for us so he will more likely get to go outside!
Sam is such a special child...he had 2 1st birthday parties. We celebrated on Sunday with our families with Mexican food, a dairy free cake, and big boy presents. We came home and purged our house of the toys to make room for his new presents. It was a sweet time with family, and Sam had a great time chasing the dogs, playing outside, and spending time with the people who think he's pretty awesome.
Last night, after our usual soccer time with the apartment kids...we invited them all to Sam's birthday party. We ate pizza and cupcakes...played games...and chased Sam around. It was refreshing to see the kids have such a good time. It made us thankful for where we live and for their influence on Sam. Sam has so many friends, big brothers and sisters...
