1st Vacation

This past week, we took our first vacation as a family in India.  I researched on the internet a few months ago and found a good deal.  We drove an hour and a half and stayed in a English Manor from the 1800s.  It's been refurbished.  It was the perfect setting.  We were in natures beauty, had a lovely restaurant to eat it, and Sam had a chance to run around and explore.  Keep us in your prayers.  We both came back refreshed, but we have been feeling crabby.  It's warming up here, and the reality that we're not going home for awhile it hitting us.  It's easy to let the people, smells, cultural obligations get you down.  We do love it here, but it's easy to become discontent.  We start another week of language learning.  We both will go to the school 5 days and meet with a tutor for 1:30 a day.  Pray that we press forward.

Happy Easter!  Sam found his Easter basket from grandma this morning, but it feels far from Easter here.  May we remember the reason for the celebration.  Christ the Lord is risen today...Alleluia!!
