Before our time in India, we took a short stop in Zurich. We have spent the last 2 days here enjoying time with a Swiss couple I met in India 3 year ago. We have enjoy beautiful walks around a quaint but large city, long talks about life, faith, and politics (of course), a journey up a mountain, and delicious food. It has been great for our hearts to prepare for what is ahead. Alen and Eveline have become sweet friends, and we hope to continue to meet together for years to come.
We resolved before leaving that we would NOT complain about the heat or being hot. This will not help our situation. We have been spoiled with mild climate the past couple days, but soon we will enter the humidity...We look forward to so much more. Times to process and dream together. The Lord will surprise us for sure during out time.
Chris said yesterday that if he could pick anywhere to live in the world, it would be Zurich. But, we know that the Lord is not calling us to such a place. It is nice to visit here though and enjoy the beauty and for me the chocolate mousse and Swiss chocolate.
One more flight today, and then our journey ends in India. Pray for our hearts. Pray for our energy. Pray for our stomachs. Bring on the spice...
