My friend, Ann, is making letters as a business. She made Sam letters for his room. I think it looks great!!

Chris does great with Sam. They're great friends already!!
We're still adjusting to life with me at home. I'm ready to have my legs back...go on long walks...take frequent trips to the grocery store...and work out again. The doctor says that if I rest well the first 2 weeks, I will have a much better recovery. I'm trying, but I definitely am feeling the urge to get out. We have had many visitors since being home. We even tried to have a BBQ at my parents' house, but Sam had an afternoon meltdown. It's been a process each day of us learning how to live with each other. He's a great baby, and I have been learning a lot. Today was the first day when Chris was packing up for school I said, "I'm exhausted." I have been sleeping better, but the task of feeding an infant every 1 1/2 hours during the day and every 3 hours at night is taxing. It's nice to be alone with him because I get some of his happy hours. Otherwise, while people are visiting I feel like I'm just the milk source. The Lord will sustain us during this time, and I know I will look back with gratitude.
